SINOPSE:
Uma jovem bibliotecária inocente, Lily, chama a atenção de vários oficiais em uma guarnição alemã e, embora um deles, tenente Prell, está particularmente atraído por ela, ela se casa com o coronel Mertzbach, o comandante regimental aristocráta. Quando o tenente Prell persiste em sua busca por Lily, a tragédia persegue o trio. Remake de The Song of Songs (1918).
