SINOPSE: Entre 1937 e 1939, a Universal lançou 11 filmes da série Crime Club Mysteries. Entre eles, estavam três adaptações de romances Jonathan Latimer guindaste Bill - o caso Westland (1937) a partir do romance dirigido para um carro funerário, A Dama na Morgue (1938), e O Último Aviso (1939). Todos os três foram estrelados por Preston Foster como Bill Crane e Frank Jenks como seu parceiro Doc Williams.
